 Outreach Program Information

bulletAll programs are age appropriate. Let us know how many participants will be attending and their ages.   Groups with young children will require extra supervision.
bulletPlease allow at least 30 - 45 minutes for set up and break down for each program. 
bulletPlease provide a room that can be darkened for slide show viewing (the darker, the better) and two tables to display items on.
bulletYou will receive a confirmation letter in the mail which also serves as an invoice.  This confirms your date and time. 
bulletPlease notify us if there is a cancellation or a need to reschedule a program no later than two weeks prior to the program date.  If there is a cancellation within the two week time frame, then there is a $75 cancellation fee.  Programs can be rescheduled as the host requests and as calendar permits.
bulletPayment is due when services are rendered. Program fees over $400 or scheduled 3 months in advance require a 50% deposit.

Outreach programs are for small or large groups.  Minimum prices are for 5 - 35 participants (*except for birthdays).  If over 35 participants, add the per person (pp) fee onto the minimum rate.  Programs are held indoors in a room that can be darkened for slide show viewing. 

Length       Program Rate                  

Half Hour     $75 min. / $1.75 pp over 20  (must schedule 2 programs)

One Hour     $150 min. / $3.50 pp over 35                                              

1 1/2 Hour     $200 min. / $4.00 pp over 35

Birthday Parties     $150 min. up to 10 ppl. / $5.00 pp over 10 (1 hour)

Rates are per program.  Please inquire about extended programs (2-3 hrs.), assembly programs, adult and senior programs and programs designed for children with special needs.  Multiple programs of the same program, same day are available.  Programs are designed to fit your curriculum needs and the NC Standard Course of Study.  Travel fees vary depending on distance.

FOR SPECIAL EVENTS / INDOORS & OUTDOORS  - EcoWild Exploration Stations

Exhibit tables of live animals and hands-on items for free flowing audiences.  Please inquire for rates.
