We come to you and connect children to nature! Welcome to A Walk in the Woods, Environmental Education Company. We come to you with fun and educational hands-on animal science programs. Hands-on science activities with animals & artifacts Meet our Animal Ambassadors: Box Turtles, Snakes, Starfish, Tarantulas, Iguanas, Snapping Turtles, Hissing Cockroaches, A Blue and Gold Macaw, Giant Millipedes, Saltwater Fish, Freshwater Fish and Tortoises. Each program has several hands-on natural artifacts with many rare and endangered items from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Choose from several environmental science programs We have programs on Reptiles, Sea Turtles, Insects, Tropical Rainforests, Coral Reefs and Sharks, Wetlands, Bats, Snakes, NC Wildlife and other educational themes. Outreach animal programs for kids and adults We provide children science programs for elementary schools, preschools, afterschool programs, home school, camps, scouts, 4-H, libraries and birthday parties.
